2nd XI vs Blundeston A

Hales and Loddon A (286-3 dec) beat Blundeston A (86) by 197 runs in Norfolk League Division 4 South East.
South African recruit James Webster scored a debut 100 and Sri Lankan opening partner Isuru hit 72 as Hales and Loddon A piled on the runs at home to Blundeston A in Norfolk League Division 4 South East.
After both retired, skipper James Buckingham (63 no), Dave Redford (29 retired) and Tom Wilkins (10 no) took the total to 286 before Buckingham declared after 30 overs.
Veterans Redford and Andrew Baker took two wickets apiece as the depleted visitors were dismissed for 86 in 24 overs.
Blundeston had been left short of players, but with a couple of H & L players helping out, did well to make a game of it.
