Hales & Loddon Cricket Club

ClubmarkHales & Loddon Cricket Club can be found just off the A146 near to the Norfolk town of Loddon and opposite the village of Hales (NR14 6TB). Formed in 2011 from the two local teams of Hales and Loddon, the club runs a number of senior and youth sides offering opportunities for cricketers of all ages and abilities.

The clubhouse provides a friendly atmosphere on match days where cricket can be enjoyed together with refreshments. We currently have plans to upgrade our facilities with a new pavilion.

The club has a number of ECB qualified coaching staff available, enjoys Clubmark and Focus Club status from the ECB and is heavily involved with developing youth cricket. There are 2 Saturday sides competing in the Norfolk Alliance League and the Norfolk Cricket League. The club has a very strong youth programme and offers a safe environment for children to enjoy cricket with coaches who have received first aid and child protection training. Full CRB checks have been completed.

A varied programme of events run throughout the year in support of the club. Details of which can be found on the “News” page.

The club moved to a new ground in 2011. With the first phase of developing the outfield and square complete, the club is in the process of securing funding which should facilitate the next phase of building a new clubhouse at the ground which would also serve the local bowling club, and provide a great facility for the villages in the surrounding area.

We have strong ties with the local community and the much-appreciated support of a number of local sponsors (details of which can be found on the “Sponsor” page). If you would like to find out more about playing, supporting or getting involved in some way, please get in touch. We promise you a warm welcome!
